Plans and billing

See your usage, buy credits, and change or manage your plan.

Everything about what you're spending and what plan you're on lives in Dashboard → Usage & Billing. It's owner-only: billing belongs to the one person who holds the workspace.

#Your balance

The top of the page shows your credit balance (what's left to spend on live runs) and what it's made of: this plan's monthly allocation, anything rolled over, and any top-ups you've bought. Credits are how compute is metered; see Credits and caching for the model.

#Where the credits went

Below the balance is your usage over a range you pick: the balance drawn down over time, plus a breakdown of what consumed it: by app, by kind of execution, and so on. It's there to answer "what's eating my credits?" at a glance.

#Buying more credits

Running low, or expecting a spike? Buy credits as a one-time top-up, right on the page. Purchased credits never expire and aren't touched by a change of plan. They sit on top of your monthly allowance. Your balance ticks up once the payment clears.

#Changing your plan

Change plan moves you between tiers. An upgrade takes effect right away with more headroom, though newly-raised limits and added credits can take up to a minute to register, so if you upgraded specifically to clear a cap you just hit, give it a moment. Moving down applies without deleting anything you're over on.

Downgrading mid-period doesn't pay out cash. It leaves an account credit applied against your future invoices, so an upcoming renewal may charge little or nothing until that credit is used up. What each tier includes is on the pricing page; the complete limits (and exactly how a downgrade treats anything above the new caps) are in Plans and limits. The Scale tier is arranged with us directly.

#Managing payment and invoices

Manage billing opens the secure billing portal, where you update your card, download past invoices, and cancel. It's hosted by our payment provider. Tessryx never stores your card number.

You're never billed for overage. Credits are prepaid: if you run out, live runs pause until you top up or upgrade. Restored instantly, nothing deleted, nothing owed. See what happens at a limit.
