Getting started

From a fresh account to a live page. The whole loop, step by step.

You'll go from a fresh account to a live page in a handful of steps. The building is done by your AI agent through the Tessryx connection: you describe outcomes, it assembles the pieces, and you keep control of the content and what goes live.

#1. Create an account

Sign up at tessryx.io. The free tier needs no credit card, and everything you build while authoring is free. You only ever spend credits on live traffic and scheduled runs (see Credits and caching).

Then confirm your email: we send a verification link, and you'll need to click it before you can sign in and connect an agent.

#2. Connect your agent

Tessryx speaks MCP, the open standard for connecting AI assistants to tools, so any MCP-capable agent (Claude, ChatGPT, or your own) can build on it. From your dashboard's Getting started card, one click adds Tessryx to Claude or to ChatGPT; other clients take a short manual setup. Full instructions and the workspace-authorization flow are in Connect your agent.

#3. Describe what you want

Ask for an outcome, not a file:

Build a blog with a members-only editor, paginated posts, an RSS feed, a sitemap, and a public JSON API.

Your agent designs the data, writes the logic, wires up the pages, tests them against real inputs, and can preview the result before anything is public. You can course-correct at any point. It's a conversation.

#4. Make it yours

Open the Content editors in the web app. Because your agent's data designs generate the forms automatically, your content is already sitting in point-and-click editors: edit the copy, upload images, adjust the data. This is the surface you and your team will live in.

#5. Publish

Publishing is what makes a version live. Until then, drafts and edits cost nothing and are visible only to you: nothing goes live by accident. When you're ready, publish the version you intend. See Publishing for how drafts, versions, and going live fit together.

#6. Add your domain

On a paid plan, connect a custom domain and your site serves from it, indexed by search engines, with no Tessryx badge. On the free tier your site lives at a tessryx.app subdomain. Walkthrough: Custom domains.

Tip: Set a cache window on pages that can tolerate slightly stale content. Cached views don't consume credits, so a well-cached site is effectively free to serve, and it rides out traffic spikes. See Credits and caching.
